

Nicholas “Nick” Calabrese passed away peacefully in the loving care of his daughter on November 28, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on December 21, 1947, in Stoneham, Massachusetts, Nicholas lived a life grounded in love, loyalty, and devotion to his family. A longtime resident of Randolph, Massachusetts, he was happiest when surrounded by those he loved and by his cherished dogs, Bitsy and his late companions, Bella and Buca, who brought him constant comfort and joy.
Nicholas proudly served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam War veteran, a period of service that shaped his strength and resilience. Following his military service, he began a long and dedicated career as a United States Postal Police Officer, serving with integrity for 34 years before retiring. Though he was proud of his service and career, his heart always belonged to his family.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Elizabeth “Betty” Tucker, and his children Nicholas Calabrese Jr. and Kimberly Tucker. Nicholas is survived by his daughter Nicole Frye and son-in-law Darryn of Mashpee, Massachusetts; his son Anthony Calabrese of San Antonio, Texas; and his daughter Ana Barbosa of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He also leaves behind his brother Leonard Calabrese of Vermont, and his cherished grandchildren Michael Browne, Briana DeMeo, Dominick Brando, and Anthony Calabrese Jr., as well as his adored great-granddaughter Autumn Browne. He is also predeceased by his brother Armand Calabrese Jr.
A visitation will be held at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd, Bourne, MA, on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. The committal service will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave, Bourne, MA, from 1:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., where Nicholas will be laid to rest with military honors.
Nicholas Calabrese will be remembered for his quiet strength, his unwavering love for his family, and the simple, meaningful moments he shared with those closest to him. His legacy lives on in his children, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, and in the many memories of his love, humor, and gentle presence.
