Patricia Ann Griffin

Patricia Ann (Liepis) Griffin, of Pocasset, 71, died June 17, 2011. She was the loving wife of Gordon Griffin. Born in Brockton, MA daughter of the late Stanley and Josephine (Pawlowski) Griffin. She was a 1958 graduate of Middleboro High. During her working years she was an office manager for an optometrist. In her spare time she enjoyed traveling having visited 40 states. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing and swimming. She was a avid sports fan. Most important to her was taking care of her family. In addition to her husband Gordon, she is survived by 3 sons Colonel Gordon Griffin of Littleton, CO, James Griffin of Buzzards Bay, Robert Griffin of Houston, TX; 1 brother Steven Liepis of Newburg, NY; 1 sister Joanne Freidenfeld of Middleboro; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday June 22, 2011 from 5 to 8 PM at the Nickerson Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 841 Shore Rd. Pocasset. Interment to follow at the MA National Cemetery at 12:45 PM.
