Patricia J. O'Connor

Patricia J. O'Connor (Dastous), 79, of Sagamore Beach, Massachusetts, passed away on May 12, 2026, at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. She was born in Wareham, Massachusetts, on July 24, 1946, to the late Dolema Dastous.

Throughout her life, Patricia was deeply beloved by those who knew her, admired for her hard work, and remembered for a compassionate spirit that showed itself in steady, everyday kindness. Her presence brought comfort and warmth, and she will be missed with sincere gratitude for the care she extended to others.

She worked for the Town of Bourne for 17 years. Her favorite hobbies included bike riding with her husband Edward, playing scrabble, completing puzzles, and spending as much time as possible at the beach with family and friends.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Edward O’Connor of Sagamore Beach, MA, her son, John O'Connor of Naperville, IL, her daughter, Kristen and her husband Randall Ellison of Mashpee, her grandchildren, Kacie and Sean Kennedy, and several siblings in the area.

Burial will take place at Sagamore Cemetery, Corner of Route 6 & Benn Abbey Rd., Bourne, MA 02563, US, on May 18, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
