

Born in New York, NY, a son of the late Alfred and Martha (Burkat) Maywald.
Paul retired Master Sergeant in the army of 38 years, and served 2 years in the Air Force. He worked 38 years at Acme Chain. His passion was woodcarving and animals but mostly birds. Nationally known for his Divers and Rollers which earned him many accolades. He always put his family first; and his is love for God was always shared. He will be greatly missed.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Manfred Maywald of Chicopee; a daughter, Janet M. Glasson of Mashpee; a brother, Christoph Maywald of Rockland, MA; a son-in-law Edward Glasson; 2 granddaughters, Tonja Ebbs and Samantha Adams and her husband Joshua; 2 great-grandsons, a great-granddaughter and a niece, Kylee Eagles.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 12 noon at Corpus Christi Parish 324 Quaker Meeting House Road East Sandwich. His visitation will be held 11:00 – 12:00 p.m. in the church. Interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
