Peter Joseph Bergeron

Peter Joseph Bergeron, 33, of Sagamore Beach, died suddenly on Monday, May 30, 2016. Born at South Shore Hospital, Peter was a life-long resident of Sagamore Beach and a 2001 graduate of Bourne High School. Peter received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Framingham State University in 2005 and went on to a career in IT services. Since 2010, Peter has worked alongside his parents in the family’s business, Publisher’s Design and Production Services in Sagamore Beach.

Peter was a loving son, brother, cousin, grandson, and friend. He loved the beach, riding his bike around his beloved Satamore Beach, and above all else he loved spending time with his friends and family. Peter will never know how many people's lives he touched in his too-short time with us.

Peter is predeceased by his paternal grandmother Gloria Bergeron (2014). He is survived by his paternal grandfather Richard Bergeron of Naples, FL and his maternal grandparents Ann and Henry Roux of Sagamore Beach, MA.

He will be greatly missed by his loving parents Mark and Laura (Roux) Bergeron, his brother James Bergeron of Orono, ME; his sister Caroline Corrente and her husband Richard of Bristol, RI; and his cherished nephews William, Kingston, and Owen (born this week). He will also be greatly missed by his maternal Uncles Joseph Roux (Peter's Godfather), John Roux, Jim Roux and his wife Mary, and Thomas Roux; his paternal Aunts Suzanne Glaser (Peter's Godmother) and her husband Randy, and Jacqueline O’Toole and her husband Bill. Peter also leaves behind many loving cousins, great aunts and uncles, and more friends than we can count.

Friends and Relatives are invited to attend visitation Monday, June 6, 2016 from 4pm to 8pm at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A Sandwich, MA 02653. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Tuesday, June 7th at Corpus Christi Parish, 324 Quaker Meeting House Road, East Sandwich, MA 02537. Burial to follow St. Peter’s Cemetery, Sandwich.
