Rose Salmeri, 79, of Weymouth, The Villages, Florida and Pocasset died Sept. 28, 2012. She was the wife of the late Paul Salmeri. Born in Newark, NJ she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Phyllis (Gervasi) Cristaldi. She was employed by the Weymouth Public Schools. She is survived by 3 sons Paul Salmeri Jr. of Taunton, Robert (Margaret) Salmeri of Killington, VT, David (Linda) Salmeri of E. Bridgewater, 2 daughters Carol (Peter) Loughman of Bourne and Diane (William) Sprague of Eastham. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and predeceased by 1 grandson. Visiting hours will be held Thursday Oct. 4, 2012 from 4 to 8 PM at the Nickerson Bourne, 40 MacArthur Blvd. Bourne. A funeral mass will be held Friday Oct. 5, 2012 at 10 AM at St. Margarets Church, 141 Main St., Buzzards Bay. Burial to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to the McCarthy Care Center, 73 Service Rd., E. Sandwich.
