

Thomas Andrew Stevens Sr., 64, of Bourne, MA, died peacefully at home surrounded by family after a long illness. He was the son of the late Richard and Margaret (Pitts) Stevens of Weymouth, MA. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (O’Brien) Stevens, his children: Thomas Andrew Stevens Jr., and his fiancé Kristina of Hyde Park, MA; Mary Goodwin (Stevens) and her husband Michael of Bellingham, MA; Nicholas Stevens and his wife Alejandra of Lexington, SC; Christopher Stevens of West Warwick, RI; Theresa Stevens and her husband Wassel of Wilmington, NC; Juliette Johns (Stevens) and her husband Ash of Stoneham, MA; along with their mother Nella Townsend. He also leaves behind 7 brothers, 1 sister, and 10 grandchildren.
Thomas was a graduate of Weymouth High School, class of 1979. He was a computer programmer at Fidelity Investments and developed his own company “TAS Computer Consulting” in 1996. Most recently, Thomas enjoyed working for Hilton Grand vacations. Thomas loved the ocean and spent most of his life on Cape Cod. He enjoyed night fishing for “stripers” off the Town Neck jetty along the Cape Cod Canal. He loved to get fish & chips from Seafood Sams and spend long beach days at Sandy Neck Beach or Monks Cove. He was also a military history enthusiast. He and his wife Elizabeth spent time as Revolutionary War reenactors with the Yarmouth Minutemen. Thomas was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist in Pocasset.
Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at Corpus Christi Parish in Sandwich on Friday, Jan 24th at 11:00am, followed by burial at Sandwich Town Cemetery on Route 130.
