Vincent J. Imperato

Vinny Imperato, known to family and friends as “Butchie”, passed away on October 2, at home surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 80.

Born in Cambridge, MA in 1944 to the late Josephine (Bulzone) and Joseph Imperato, Vincent is the only son and is the second of four children, including his sisters Anne Leccese (Mike) of Clearwater FL, Raine Murphy (Steve) of Clearwater FL, and Donna Mattie (Bobby) of North Andover MA; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Vincent was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joanne Imperato (Rossetto, 2011), and is survived by his four daughters – Paula Cassarino of New Bedford MA, Lisa Concannon and her husband Paul of Stoughton, MA, Karen Imperato of Athol, MA, and Andrea Imperato of Bourne, MA., his beloved 13 grandchildren – Deanna, Nicole, Danelle, Alyssa, Dominic, Derek, Callie, Justin, Allison, Jocelyn, Julianne, Jake and Kailie, his great-grandchildren – Joey, Elli, Hayden and Aiden, and his faithful companion – Cuddles.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral home, Bourne, Ma., followed by a burial service at Pocasset Cemetery.
