Newman, Jr.; mother of Jo Ann Cornell and her husband Don, Barbara Shadwell and her husband Mark, Sharon Rich, Ernie Rich and his wife Beth, Kent Rich and his partner Glenn, Edwin Newman III and his wife Colleen, Timothy Newman, James Newman and his wife Kay, Matthew Newman and his wife Becky. Ann is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Family will receive friends at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, Maryland 20715 on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 6 to 8 pm and Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 10 am until 12 noon where a funeral service will follow at 12 noon. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ann’s name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society - lls.org.
