To her friends in the spoon collecting world, she was known as "the woman who wrote the book." In addition, she and Dorothy wrote many articles for Silver Magazine. She was an active member and past officer of the North Eastern Spoon Collectors Guild. Married in 1956, Donna and her late husband of 40 years, Carl B. Felger, enjoyed years of boating and fishing on the Chesapeake Bay. In addition to collecting antiques, teddy bears, dolls, Limoges boxes, and other collectibles, Donna enjoyed many craft projects, especially dressing porcelain dolls with a group of lady friends lovingly referred to as the "lunch bunch."
