Edna “Claire” Nowak (nee Hennegan) of Bowie, Maryland passed peacefully to her eternal reward in Heaven on Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Claire is beloved by her entire family, she is wife of the late Casey Nowak; mother of Sharon Conwell (Raymond), Michael Nowak, Thomas Nowak, James Nowak, Mary La Fave (Gregg) and Jeffrey Nowak (Ruth); sister of the late Mary Novak, James Hennegan, Celeste Feeney, Alice Henn, Esther Craig and John Hennegan; grandmother of Jason, John, Justin and Nathan and great-grandmother of Kaedan, Caitlyn, Anna and Liam. Family will receive friends at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD 20715 on Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 4 to 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am, Monday, October 27, 2014 at Sacred Heart Chapel, Bowie, Maryland. Interment Church cemetery.
