Lorraine A. Connelly

Lorraine Connelly was escorted from this world to her final destination by her late husband Jack on February 24, 2024. Lorraine passed peacefully in her sleep after battling dementia for several years.

Lorraine led a very full and satisfying life as the wife of a USAF Command Pilot LT Col John T. Connelly. They were married for 56 years before Jack passed in 1999. She shared duty station responsibilities with John especially during the early 1950s when John was assistant Air attaché to Turkey, and Lorraine was the hostess with the mostest, hosting parties for countless foreign dignitaries. Lorraine was both mom and dad several times during John's career, as John was often

on assignment.

Lorraine enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, keeping a beautiful home, entertaining and visiting her family and friends, flower arranging, and her many collections of angels, Hummels, and figurines.

Lorraine is survived by her daughter Denise and her husband Bill Cogar, her son Marc and his wife Margie Connelly, four grandchildren: Chris Connelly and Carrie Jones, Billy Jay and Timothy Cogar, seven great grandchildren: Reilly, Keenan and Eric Connelly, Sullivan Jones, Kennedy, Aidan and Mackenzie Cogar, and great great grandson, Caiden Olden.
