On Saturday, September 14, Mohamed Atta of Bowie, MD passed away at the age of 81. Mohamed is survived by his beloved wife, Rita Atta; his son Sharif Atta (Sandy); his daughter Sherry Atta and his grandchildren, Adel Abdella, Zidan Abdella, Georgina Atta, and Camilla Atta. Mohamed was born in Cairo, Egypt, immigrating to the US in 1970. He loved to cook gourmet meals for his friends and family, reading and spending time in Rehoboth Beach.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mohamed's name may be made to the American Lung Association, or a charity of your choice.
