Debbie and family, mom just told me of the sad news. Sadness hardly describes the words I have in my heart for you. I truly enjoyed talking and joking with Raymond when he came down to the country.  Be at comfort knowing he is at peace but probably not quiet.

Debbie and Family:  Was good talking to you today, even though it was a sad circumstance that lead to it.  I am so thankful that you are my friend Deb, and that we connected even briefly these past ten years.  Remember what I told you, and cherish those moments.  Love you always friend. Raymond sure changed from the last time I saw him, with long hair!!

debbie, this is nick fedorchak. raymond was such a dear man to me. i felt very safe being with the raymonds and the knotts. being on ardleigh court knowing i had big leo and big raymond made my life so much better. when i was always under pressure, he acted as though everything was ok. im so going to miss him. Debbie, I will never forget the kindness Ray showed to my son Bobby when his dad passed away this summer (Paul's brother John),  He was amazing.  I didn't know Ray that well, but he left a lasting impression on me.  He was a good man and I enjoyed being around him, he had a great sense of humor. For over 25 yrs Raymond played such an importantance in my son, Joey's life, starting with baseball. The Knott family was Joey's second family. I know good advice was always given. Viewing the pictures showed the person Raymond really was and the fun in his life and how much his family meant to him. May God Bless the Knott Family. Linda Violante

Growing up and living in the neighborhood with Mr. Knott around was a treat.  He cared alot about not only his family but the other people of Amber Meadows and Bowie.  Mr. Knott had good word everytime you came across him of course he had to make you laugh.   Those that knew him, he left a good impression.

To my sweet and handsome father-in-law....you were the first one to change Brianna's diaper. You and Debbie did not hesitate when Brian and I needed you the most! Alyssa adores you so much! You were and will always be a great father-in-law and the best Papa your grandchildren could have ever asked for! I love you handsome!!!!

I have very fond memories of hanging out in your back yard.  Ray was always very proud of his flowers.  I was very jealous.  You are all in our thoughts and prayers.  George, Tom, and Christina Thayer

Mr. Knott had a significant positive impact on my life and he will be greatly missed. My condolences to the whole Knott family.

My prayers are with you at this most difficult time.  Ray was such a good friend to Ron and Kenny.  I'll never forget how good he was to Kenny when Ron died.  That's  just the kind person he was.

Ray was very kind to me every time I saw him we didn't shake hands we hugged. I know Ray is in heaven with my father playing cards & hopefully there's a horse race track up there. If there is then I know there winning. To the knott family you are my family & I send all my love & condolences to your family. God bless his soul no more pain & I love you all.

Raymond was a kind soul and I will miss him.  He was so good to me...always asking what needed to be done around my house and fixing things for me.  When I left a family party before him, he'd always say, "leave a string" (so he could find his way home to Bowie).  Rest in peace, sweet Raymond.  Until we meet again, leave a string so I can find my way to heaven one day.

Mr. Knott was an amazing man. I can't put into words what he meant to me and my brothers. He was a father to the fatherless. Thank you Brian, Kevin and Shawn for sharing him with the Jameson brothers. We will never, ever forget Ray Knott. Words can't describe what he meant to us. May God bless the Knott's in this trying time.

Debbie and boys...Ray will always be remembered as "Mr. Ray" to us.  He was the coolest, kindest and most generous neighbor we ever had.  I am so very sorry for your loss.  Our deepest sympathy to you and your families.  I can tell by the amazing photos of his life, he was loved by so many.
