

Shirley Brammer 87 years old of Felton, Delaware. Passed away peacefully at her youngest son's home February 20th 2026. Shirley, the daughter of Charles Lanier and Elsie Grubich was born February 22 1938 in Beckley, West Virginia.
She was a devoted wife, mother of 4 children and grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was centered around love of family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Brammer Sr., and her eldest daughter Sandra Jones and her middle son Jeff Brammer.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Brammer and his wife Beth of Felton, Delaware, and eight grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren;
Since the death of her husband in 2003 she was lovingly cared for by her youngest son Stephen and daughter-in-law Beth. She also shared a close and special bond in recent years with her grandchildren Jami Harrigan-Ferro, Olivia Brammer, and Matt Brammer.
She loved playing slot machines traveling in her 70's and talking on the phone to Aunt Susan and being around her family.
She was a lifelong hard worker. She work as a waitress after our family relocated to Maryland in the early 60's then transitioned into retail management for many years. In her later years she became an in-home daycare provider and full time homemaker roles she carried out with consistency and care till she retired. She valued providing for her family and took pride in maintaining a home built on structure and love.
She will be remembered for her dedication to her children and grandchildren, her strong presence, and the lasting impact she made on those who knew her.
Her footprint will live forever.
A visitation will be held at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, located at 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, Maryland, on March 6, 2026, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
The graveside service and interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Rd, Clinton, Maryland, on March 6, 2026, @ 1:30 pm
