Donna and family.  Please accept our condolences.  We have a lot of great memories of Steve most of which was his ability to make us laugh.  His thoughtful and caring personality will be missed.  He always had time for other people, whether it was coaching youth sports in the community or helping local organizations thrive. Our baseball outings were extra special when Steve was a part of it.  A good friend.  I'll miss the one on one talks we use to have.

Donna, Justin, Crystal, Brady and Braxton, I am so sorry for the loss of Steve.  He will be missed by many. I met Steve in the 6th grade at Yorktown Elementary School.  He was a character even back then.  He was the go to guy for Cinnamon toothpicks, sports stats and tips on how to correctly hit a softball.  We went through Samuel Ogle and Bowie High together.  After graduation, we both stayed in the area to raise our families.  Often I would run into Steve at different events and restaurants around Bowie.   Stories. he had them!!! I always enjoyed listening to him talk about the Bowie Boys Club, his jobs as a painter, insurance salesman as well as how much he loved his family. Years later, I got involved in running our class reunions.  After the first reunion, I knew I needed a strong go to guy who would help me. And knowing Steve's dedication to the Bowie Boys Club as well as other organizations, he was the guy for the job.    Steve not only helped but took charge of reserving the venues, auditioning DJ's and really shaping the direction of our reunions.  For the last six reunions, he was the shoulder I leaned on, cried on and told me it was going to be ok when I needed to hear that.  He loved nothing more than standing back and seeing all the classmates enjoying themselves.  He was the ultimate salesman, able to talk classmates into coming to the reunions who had no intentions of doing so!  We maintained our friendship in between reunions, going out to dinner with our families, supporting each other when it was needed, sharing in joys and sorrows. He never let me down.  What I think I will miss the most was his ability to make me laugh.  Even when I didn't want to.he made me laugh, chuckle and smile.  Rest in Peace my dear friend I will miss you.

My deepest heartfelt condolences on your loss. Steve was a mentor for me in a time of my life where I really needed one. He taught me many great things that have and will continue to serve me well. I feel like I can smell his cologne as I type this. The memories we shared and my appreciation for the man he was will stay with me to the end of my days. May he rest in infinite peace.

Jitka and I were deeply saddened by the loss of Steve. He was a great guy who enjoyed life to its fullest. I will always remember the good times that I spent with him over the years. He will truly be missed as a good friend and colleague. Our prayers go out to his entire family.

Justin and the entire family, I am deeply sorry for your loss.  You all are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

We have so many great many through the years with the Boys club from games, competitions, trips to Florida and Ocean City and partys and dances. Our all time Favorite is one year on a Football trip us parents stayed in Hotel hall to make sure none of the kids snuck out and we laughed and laughed while Steve imitated the Pillsbury dough boy everytime Donna poked his stomach. He will truly be missed by the Bowie community.  I know he will be watching over all of you. We love you

John and I were so sorry to hear of Steven's passing.  He was a very good friend, tenant and contractor. He was always in good spirits and was a kind and loving husband to Donna. Our prayers are with the family.

We are so sorry to hear of Steve's passing.  He was an incredibly likeable guy - quite the entertainer - had the gift of gab, a terrific sense of humor, very animated.  He commanded a room and we enjoyed every moment spent around him.  It was clear he loved his family and we are deeply saddened by your loss.
