"A devoted family man, William G. Hundley Jr. was known to his closest friends as “Still Bill." In addition to being a retired Engineering Specialist for the Federal Government for over 30 years, he was also a Real Estate Associate Broker, and a Korean War Combat Veteran.
William was playful, witty, and traveled internationally. He was a self-taught pianist with eclectic musical tastes. Additionally, he was a car enthusiast and frequented car shows in the local area with friends.
One of his greatest passions, which he gladly shared with everyone, was his love of the Washington Redskins, a team he followed for over 40 years! Not many things came close to exciting and frustrating him as much as watching his 'Skins. Always the eternal optimist, before the start of every season, he would tell everyone that this was going to be a great season for the Redskins.
Other hobbies and pursuits included computers, studying the stock market, home construction and renovation, and just about all aspects of the real estate industry.
William never met a stranger. Upon meeting him and being in his presence for even a short period of time, he would be at work doing what he did best, which was sharing thoughts, ideas, kind words and building relationships. This is where his wit and playful personality really came through. He was definitely a "people" person and had a knack for winning people over and making them feel good.
He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 66 years, Jean; daughter, Antoinette; son, Robert; daughter-in-law, Beth; beloved granddaughter, Sasha and a host of relatives including a niece, nephews, cousins, and many friends."
