Born in Milford Twp., PA. She was a daughter of the late Mamie (Hilbert) and Claude Shaner Sr.
She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church.
Arlene was employed by Gudebrod Manufacturing in Stowe for over 18 years working in production.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna M. wife of David R. Holzer of Boyertown and Debra A. wife of James Miller. Grandchildren, Christopher Miller, Karey(Miller) Choder, Shawn Holzer, Celeste Holzer and Justin Holzer.Great granddaughter, Aurora Choder. Her siblings, Pearl Greist of Reading, Claude Shaner, Jr. of Elverson and Harry Shaner of Boyertown. Arlene is predeceased by her sisters, Verna, Viola, Annabelle, Betty, Helen, Shirley and Eleanor.
Memorial Services will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 111 North Reading Ave. Boyertown, PA. 19512. Sunday, September 14, 2014 at 3:00 PM. Friends may call from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
