Bernice E. Prutzman

Born in Gabelsville she was the daughter of the late Agnes (Moyer) and Paul W. Moatz, Sr. Bernice was the oldest of six children.

She was a supervisor for the former Boyertown Casket Company. Kitchen Aid for Boyertown School District and worked for Moyers Meat &Deli, Gabelsville doing all duties.

Bernice is survived by a son, Dennis M., husband of Darlene (Campbell) Prutzman of Denver; a granddaughter, Staci D. Harnish of Narvon; a grandson Brad D. Prutzman of Lansdale; three great-grandchildren, Alyssia, Jacqueline and Ray Harnish, III; four brothers, Donald Moatz of Exeter Township, Paul W. Moatz, Jr. of Boyertown, Kenneth Moatz of Bally and Richard Moatz of Gabelsville; a sister, Janet Moyer of Gabelsville.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m., Monday, January 2, 2012 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown. Sister Millicent J. Drake will officiate.

Relatives and friends will be received between 12 – 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Cocalico Senior Center, 158 West Main Street, Renholds, PA 17569.
