Born in London,Ontario Canada. She was a daughter of the late Mary "Maye" (Harkness) and Hayden J. Higginson.
In her early years she worked in Canada as a teacher, later she worked for the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit in the Daycare and Early Childhood Education. After retirement she worked as a Bus Aid with the North Penn School District.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Sang in the Choir.
Brenda is survived by her children, Nancy M. wife of Charles Lippincott of Oil City, PA., Janine R. wife of Ken Shellenberger of Pottstown and Wendy E. wife of Duane Endy of Millsboro, DE. Grandchildren, Nathanael husband of Karen D'Amore, Katelyn wife of Jeremy Reis, Heather wife of Andrew Hutchins, Benjamin D'Amore, Richie husband of Laura Crooks, Stephen Crooks and Meghan Crooks. She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren and her granddog Eddie. She is predeceased by her twin brother Garth Higginson.
Graveside Services will be held at Limerick Garden of Memories on Friday October 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM.
