Caroline M. (Moore) Ketner, 82, of Boyertown, wife of the late Franklin C. Ketner, passed away at the Schuylkill Center on Monday, October 19, 2020. Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Buhler) and William Moore.
Caroline was a waitress at Dempsey’s, Dinner Bell, and the Lakeside Inn. Afterward, she spent 13 years at Zerns, working at her stand Caroline’s, selling pillows and other handmade items she and her family crafted. She also sold Beanie Babies to which she earned the beloved title of being the “Beanie Babies Lady”.
Caroline is survived by her daughter, Beverly A., wife of Timothy R. Matthews Sr., of Boyertown; grandsons, Timothy R. Matthews Jr., of Exeter Twp. and Ryan M. Matthews of Shillington; and great-grandson, Jordan.
Funeral Services will be held at 12pm at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home in Boyertown, PA. Relatives and friends may call from 11-12pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Limerick Garden of Memories in Limerick, PA.
