Born in his home in Perkiomenville he was the son of the late Mabel K. (Kemmerer) and Joshua Kulp. Charlie and Arlene celebrated 60 yrs of loving Marriage in fall of 2023.
He worked for Bally Ribbon Mill in Bally for over 36 years until his retirement. Working first as a Weaver and later as a Forklift Operator. Previously he worked as a tool and die setter for Melrath in Pennsburg for 13 years.
Charles is a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sassamansville. He was actively involved with the church Property Committee.
He was a social member of the Bally and Liberty fire companies, he was also a member of the Gabelsville Athletic Association. He was active in numerous local golf leagues throughout his life, and was able to play to play a few rounds in February of this year.
Charles is survived by his son, Thomas S. Kulp of Kutztown. Grandsons, Samuel C. Kulp and Owen J. Kulp of Pittsburgh. A brother, Joseph husband of Patricia Kulp of LA. He is predeceased by his siblings, Raymond, William, Leroy, Robert, Norman and George.
Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church 1809 Hoffmansville Rd. Sassamansville, PA 19472 in Wednesday April 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
Family and friends may call Wednesday at church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
