

Earl E. Levengood 94 of Douglassville passed away Saturday April 7, 2012 in his residence at Keystone Villa. Earl was the husband of Mary A. (Gross) Levengood and the son of the late Alice (Rhoads) and Elmer E. Levengood.
Earl who was born in Boyertown, graduated from Amity High School in 1934 where he was the class valedictorian. He was also a retired farmer and was the former owner and establisher of Levengood’s Greenhouse, Douglassville. Earl was also a lifelong and active member at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Douglassville.
Along with his wife Mary of 71 years, Earl is survived by 3 daughters; Janet wife of Fred McMullen of Birdsboro, Judith wife of James Trout of Douglassville and Jean wife of Robert Wolf of Delaware. A son Donald husband of Diane (Petrillo) Levengood of Douglassville. Grandchildren; Mary Frazier, James Trout, Karen Trout, Kristine Reitnauer, John Levengood, Amy Levengood, Rebecca Woodzell and Benjamin Wolf. There are also 15 Great Grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Helen Oxenford and a brother Gerald Levengood, both of Douglassville. Earl was predeceased by a sister Mabel Yorgey and a brother Melvin Levengood.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 11, 2012 at 11 am at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 548 Old Swede Road Douglassville Pa. 19518. Viewing will be held prior to service at church from 9:45 till 10:45. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery Amityville.
