Ferne G. Kulp

Born in Earl Township she was the daughter of the late Benjamin W. and Elsie M. (Gross) Motz.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s (Hill) Lutheran Church, Boyertown. A production worker for Red Cheek Inc., Fleetwood for many years retiring in 1989. She was a member of the Society of Farm Woman of PA, the Lutheran Church Woman’s Organization and the Boyertown Senior Center.

She is survived by a daughter, Elaine R. Kulp of Boyertown; a brother, David W. Motz of Earl Township; three nieces and four nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Lester R. Kulp on October 26, 1993 and a sister A. Marie Freimann died in 2002.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, September 23, 2010 at St. John-Hill United Church of Christ, 620 Hill Church Road, Boyertown. The Reverend Jeffrey W. Odgren will officiate.

Burial will be in Hill Church Cemetery, Pike Township, Berks County, PA.

Relatives and friends will be received between 10 – 11 a.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s (Hill) Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 244 Koch Road, Boyertown, PA 19512.
