Gordon E. Schock

Born in Reading he was the son of Terry L. Schock of Boyertown and the late Brenda L. (Stinnard) Gottshall.

He was a 2002 graduate of the Automotive Training Center, Exton. He was an Eagle Scout, class of 1998. He was a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Boyertown. Gordon was a member of the Boyertown YMCA; he also played on a pool league for Keystone Fire Company, Boyertown.

For the last four years he worked at Lafayette Welding, Collegeville last working Wednesday, November 16, prior to that he worked at Sugg Chevrolet, Boyertown as an auto tech.

Surviving with his father Terry is a brother, Ryan P., husband of Allison (Long) Schock of Collegeville; paternal grandparents, Roland G. and Larue E. Schock of Boyertown; maternal grandmother, Ellen Stinnard of Gilbertsville and five aunts and uncles.

Memorial services will be 12 p.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown. The Reverend Dennis P. Christie will officiate.

Relatives and friends will be received Tuesday between 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
