Born June 16th, 1968 in Allentown, he was the son of Diane (Lichtenwalner) Guinther married to Dave Guinther of Bowers, and Noel Emrich of Vera Cruz married to Jeana Emrich.
He is survived by his loving partner of 26 years, Jennifer Elgendy, and two sons John Duke Emrich and Matthew Everett Emrich; brother Keith Emrich and his wife Kim; daughters Megan and Niccole; and sister Valerie Blessing and her husband Troy and their daughter Zoeigh and son Troy, Jr.
Graduating from Brandywine Heights High School, where he met Jennifer Burkhardt, his boys’ mother, Jimmy then went on to obtain his CDL. He drove a truck for Indian Valley Bulk Carriers and Heavner Trucking, and for the past 20 years he was a diesel mechanic for Lowe and Moyer in Fogelsville.
James was a man who deeply cherished his connections with family, friends and the outdoors, whether it was RVing with Jen, trips to the cabin and hanging out with his fur family Chloe, Emma, Henry and Koda. Another one of his greatest joys in life was spending time with his boys. He took immense pride in sharing his passions with them, especially his love of hunting, fishing, and working on their vehicles.
He was the most laid-back and easy-going person you could have ever met; he will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed.
A celebration of life will be held at 2pm on Friday, April 25th at Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, 111 N. Reading Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512 with calling hours from 12 to 2pm.
