Janet Elaine Miller

Born in Elizabethville on November 16, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Miles V. Miller and Amy L. (Dietrich) Miller.

She was a 1951 graduate of Elizabethville High School and a 1955 graduate of Ursinus College where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree.

Janet’s career in teaching was spent mostly at Boyertown Area School District teaching high school English for 17 1//2 years. She retired in 1995.

Janet loved reading, watching Jeopardy, doing crossword puzzles and traveling.

Janet was preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Victoria M., wife of John J. Jones, Jr. of Media. She is survived by her two sisters: Marilyn J. Wilson of Pitman, NJ and R. Suzanne Miller of Harrisburg and three daughters Elizabeth N. Miller of Harrisburg, Jenafer S., wife of David Mayan of Gilbertsville, and Erica L. Miller of Pottstown; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
