

She was born in Norristown, PA, and was the last surviving child of Dorothy (Stoltz) and Maines W. Poorman, Sr.
Joyce worked for SKF in King of Prussia and Micro Coax in Limerick for many years. She later worked at Kohl’s in Royersford until retiring.
Joyce is survived by her daughter, Michele E., widow of Glen Brickel, of Reading; her grandchildren, Tiffany E. Brickel (fiancée of Jeremy T. Weidner), Korey D. Brickel (husband of Kira Brickel), Courtney L. Brickel, Tommy L. Corbo-Syrellis (husband of Megan Corbo-Syrellis), Britney M. Cosello (wife of Joseph Cosello); her nephew, Robert H. Lowry IV (husband of Anthony Short); and her daughter-in-law, Gina M. Corbo-Syrellis (wife of George Syrellis). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her great-granddaughter, Reagan Lynn Weidner, and her siblings, Barbara E. Lowry and William M. “Billy” Poorman, Jr.
She was a big Phillies fan, and in her honor, everyone is welcome to wear Phillies attire.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Limerick Garden of Memories – Chapel of the Good Shepherd, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA 19468.
Family and friends may call on Friday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Interment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joyce’s name to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901, or the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
