Lizzie Alice Christman Johnson

Lizzie Alice (Christman) Johnson, 94, widow of Lloyd W. Johnson (died March 1, 1992) of South Coventry Township, Chester County, PA formerly of Gilbertsville passed away on Monday, February 14, 2011 in the Manatawny Manor.

Born in New Hanover she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lizzie A. (Miller) Christman.

Lizzie worked in the cafeteria at Gilbertsville Elementary School and at the Grill Shop, Boyertown. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Boyertown. She enjoyed gardening, crutching, putting jigsaw puzzles together and doing word search books.

She is survived by a daughter, Doris M., wife of Clarence R. Moser of Gilbertsville; a son, Ronald Johnson of Bechtelsville; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by six brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday, February 21, 2011 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown. Sister Millicent J. Drake will officiate.

A viewing will be Monday between 10 – 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 45 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown.
