Born in Lares Puerto Rico he was the son of the late Rafael and Agueda (Acevedo) Viera of Puerto Rico.
Luis was a United States Air Force Veteran. He worked for Petro Pumps, Inc. as a technician.
Surviving with his mother Agueda and his wife Linda are two sons, John M. Butler of Hamburg, Luis F. Viera, Jr. at home and a daughter, Nicole M. Viera at home; two brothers, Rafael Viera of Pottstown and German Viera of Puerto Rico and a sister, Basilisa Viera of Puerto Rico.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.
