Mabel B. Henry

Mabel B. Henry, 92, wife of Francis S. Henry of Royersford, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012 in Parkhouse Providente Point where she was a resident for three years. She was formerly of Bechtelsville.

Born in Oaks on December 21, 191 she was the daughter of the late Olive Jessie (Famous) and Emmanuel Washington Bartman.

She was a member of St. Columbkill Roman Catholic Church, Boyertown. She worked in the kitchen of B. F. Goodrich, Oaks. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and watching the Phillies.

Surviving with her husband Francis of 44 years are children, are Frain, Shirley, wife of Richard Rentschler both of Spring City, Sandra Browder of Westerville, OH; William, husband of Connie Pierce of Lake Placid, FL, Ronald, husband of Patricia Pierce of Fullerton, CA; step-children, Barbara, wife of Paul Yost of Barto, Rosanna, wife of Tobe Robbins of Spokae, WA; Francis, C., husband of Joanne Henry of Boyertown and Leo, husband of Karen Henry of Pottstown. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Mabel was predeceased by her daughter Ellen Atkinson; granddaughter, cindy Atkinson and her siblings, Charles Bartman, Florence Rhoadarman, Edith Custer and Nedah Ullman.

Friends may call Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown. Prayer Services will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Most Blessed Sacrament Church Cemetery, Bally. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers Masses for Mabel are suggested.
