Mr. Martin "Marty" A. Mandato

Mr. Martin A. Mandato (nick-named Marty) was born on June 3, 1935 in Philadelphia, the sixth and youngest child, a son to the late Samuel and Josephine (Salimone) Mandato of 6006 Beechwood Street, the Germantown section of Philadelphia, PA.

In his final years Mr. Mandato lived on East Main Street, Lansdale, PA with his beloved companion of 12 years Ms. Bonnie Rivera and their lovable canine Snowball when He passed away at the age of 73 on Friday, March 27, 2009 at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.

Mr. Martin Mandato was a graduate of Central High School in Philadelphia. He was a co-developer of Humphrey's Pest Control in Glenside, PA in the 1950’s. (www.humphreyspestcontrol.com) He served as a volunteer for the local police department in the 1970’s. He was also an entrepreneur in several businesses through out the years including construction and hardwood flooring.

Mr. Mandato had a selfless love for his very wonderful woman, Ms. Bonnie Rivera and his Family. He also was a very fun, easy going, loving inspiration to his family. He had a sense of adventure and was admired for his quick wit and unending charm. When he was younger he loved working on cars, car racing, card games, and sometimes dancing. With a huge smile you would often hear him say, "Don't sweat the small stuff kid." In his later years He loved spending time with Ms. Bonnie and Snowball, dinning out with whom ever wanted to go, talking about food, computers, playing video games, and the ocean especially Atlantic City. He had a Big Smile and huge bear hug when ever you greeted him. He was always rooting for the underdog but was a good sport with who ever won.

He is survived by his loving companion Ms. Bonnie Rivera

Two Sons, Mr. Anthony Mandato, and Mr. Martin Mandato.

*He was predeceased by His Son Mr. Francis E. Mandato who passed away on Oct.16, 1997 at the age 39*

Mr. Mandato is also survived by Five Granddaughters, Mrs. Alicia Mandato Villifane,

Ms. Daniele Mandato, Ms.Teresa Mandato, Ms. Candace Kirkpatrick and Alexandria Del Valle’.

Thirteen Grandsons, Mr. Andrew Beitmen, Mr. Glen Beitmen, Mr. Joseph Beitmen,

Mr. Martin Mandato, Mr. Jonathan Mandato, Kenneth Mandato, Mr. Michael Mandato, Justin Peterson, Giovanni Del Valle’, Samuel Del Valle’, Giancarlo Del Valle’, Cory Brungardt, and Victor Brungardt.

Fourteen Great-Grandchildren, Adresa, Isabella, Alyssa, Phoebe, Anthony, Felicity, Michele, Alexandria, Lily, Riley, Gwenavieve, Devina, Anastasia, Zoey

Three Sons-in-Law, Mr. Michael Kirkpatrick, Mr. Fernel Del Valle' and Mr. Jesse Bruntgardt
