Paul Charles McFarland

Born in Danville, PA he was born to Edna and Stewart McFarland. He graduated from Danville High School in 1949. Paul was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church where both he and Esther served as advisors for the Luther League youth program from 1968 to 1978.

Paul began his working career as a newspaper delivery person and worked summers on a family farm. He worked at J.J. Newberry’s as a stock boy. He was employed by Geisinger Hospital Housekeeping and Maintenance departments, Merck Company and William Thome Electric. He finally landed at Philco/Ford from 1959 through 1992 when he retired.

Paul served overseas in the US Army during the Korean war.

After their retirement, Paul and Esther took many bus trips. Paul was a very knowledgeable computer nerd. He always had the most recent technology. He enjoyed working in his yard and working on projects around the house.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Marcia A. Stark, of Boyertown, widow of David L. Stark, a sister, Margaret and brother Donald, both of Danville.

A visitation will be Tuesday, November 11, 2025 between 10:00 and 11:00 AM at the funeral home. A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM at Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc, 111 N Reading Avenue, Boyertown, PA 19512. The Reverand Bobbie Hoffman will officiate.
