Ray C. Peterson

Ray C. Peterson 67, of Douglass twp. Montgomery County, passed away Friday October 22, 2010 at Grandview Hospital, Sellersville PA. Ray was born in Pennsburg PA; he was the son of the late Bernice (Bernhard) and Daniel H. Peterson. Ray was married in 1965 to Sara “Sallie” (Shainline) Peterson. Ray was a member of Bethany Evangelical Church, Clayton. He worked at the former Ryder Trucking Pennsburg as a Tech 3 mechanic until 1997 and last working at Off the wall, Telford as a truck driver retiring in 2005. Ray also enjoyed fishing, camping and NASCAR. He also enjoyed his grandchildren’s horseshows.

Ray is survived by his wife Sara “Sallie” (Shainline) Peterson along with 2 Daughters Joanne P. wife of Charles Ambrose of East Greenville and Jennifer L. wife of Thomas Milewski of Gilbertsville. 4 Grandchildren Cpl. Justin Milewski USMC, Cody Ambrose, Samantha Milewski and Jessica Ambrose. A niece Yvonne Salahi, Middletown Del. A Sister, Pauline wife of Richard Schuler of Pennsburg.

Ray was predeceased by a son Gary Lee Peterson, and 4 Brothers Clarence, Harold, Russell and Ralph Peterson.

Memorial Service will be held Thursday October 28, 2010 at 12 noon. Friends will be received from 11Am until noon; at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home Inc. 111 North Reading Ave. Boyertown Pa.
