

Born in Congo, PA he was the son of the late Raymond M. and Mary Louise (Weller) Conrad.
Russell was a tire builder at BF Goodrich, Oaks for 39 years. He also was a self-employed roofer for many years. He was U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He was a founding member of the Lonesome Cabin Hunting Lodge; a life member of the Orioles and a member of the VFW and the Friendship Hook & Ladder Fire Company, Boyertown. Russell took great pride in his family and friends. He was a dedicated grandfather and loved the outdoors.
Russell is survived by his significant other Judy Neiman for 17 years; two sons, Christopher S., husband of Chantal Conrad of Boyertown and Randy A., husband of Mindy Conrad of Fleetwood; a daughter, Robin R., wife of Bruce Koch of Bechtelsville; four brothers, Paul, Kenny, Ronnie and Dennis Conrad; four sisters, Ethel Suloman, Fay Slonaker, Fern Flicker and Darlene Conrad; grandchildren, Jill girl friend of Jarred Amanda wife of Brandon, Leoncia, Taylor, Aurora and Rebecca; and great-granddaughters, Ashley and Adalyn.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown.
A viewing will be Wednesday, March 21, 2012 between 6 – 8 p.m. and Thursday between 10 – 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories.
