

Born in Washington Township he was a son of the late Florence (Heydt) and Herbert Fronheiser.
Sterling was employed as a Truck Driver for Jones Motor Freight for over 30 years until its closing. He also was a Bus Driver for Quigley Bus Service for over 10 years.
He served in the U.S Army during WWII in Germany.
Sterling was a member of the Topton Legion, Mertztown Rod and Gun Club, Pike Township Sportsman Club. The Bally, Bechtelsville, Liberty and the Friendship Hook and Ladder Fire Companies. He was also a member of the Orioles in Boyertown.
He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Hoffman of Bluffton, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Roger Hoffman, Randy Koch, Renee Erb, Stuart Stoudt, Ramona Peifer, Teresa Bauer and Sheila Eddinger and their families; his longtime companion Janice “Dolly” Moyer and a sister-in-law Sue Stoudt. He is predeceased by his sisters, Janet Koch and Emma Peck.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, September 3, 2015 between 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 4, 2015 between 10:00 to 11:00 am.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown.
