Wayne Michael McKinstry

Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Samuel R. McKinstry and Virginia (Bennett) McKinstry of New Berlinville.

Wayne was a hard worker, last working for Pep Boys. Previously, he also worked for Boyertown Packaging and other local businesses.

He was a life member of the Leni-Lenape Pistol Club. He was a Boy Scout in his youth. Wayne also loved crossword puzzles, reading, watching nature and history shows and took good care of his family.

He was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church and sang in the Choir when he was younger.

He was a 1970 graduate of Boyertown Area Senior High School.

Wayne is survived by his mother. Sister, Eileen P. wife of David K. Hoffman of Barto. Nephew, Shaun D. husband of Kelly Hoffman of West Bloomfield, MI. Niece, Lauren E. wife of Thomas Koenig of Titusville, NJ. Along with his great nieces, Brynn and Kady Hoffman and his cat LT.

Memorial Services will be held at St. Andrew UMC. 611 Swamp Creek Rd. Bechtelsville, PA. 19505 on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 3:00 PM.

Friends and family may call at church on Saturday from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
