Mike, Tiffany & Jeremy,  Debbie was such an incredible person and she will be missed by so many people. John & I have been reflecting on the wonderful memories when you were all living here in Champaign, IL.   Friendship was such an important part of our lives. John & I will continue to keep all of you in our prayers.

Debbie was a kind wonderful person. She always smiled at just about everything I would say with a sweet laugh. Even if she was in a bad mood she would never show it. When we first moved here she was part of the realtors association that worked with us getting everything ready. Then she left there and went to work for an attorney’s office. Well we then used her attorney for a Will and Trust. So we followed her around. I know she loved the Lord and that’s a special thing to worship him. God took her fast maybe for a reason. But I tried to get over to see her, but unfortunately she was too sick for company. Understandable. I love you Deb and will see you again one day with your smiley face. Enjoy the Lord and all his glory.

Dear Mast Family,

Debbie was known as “Miss Debbie” to my two children, Gabriel and Nina. She and I worked together at FONA for several years and became close friends during that time. She came to our house and watched the kids so that I could have a break. That was a difficult season in our family’s life. She made it better by just being there, listening to me and praying with me. She had a remarkable relationship with Jesus that was contagious. Her love for the Lord was incredible. I know she is there in heaven with our Lord and Savior now. God speed to all - Mike, Tiffany, your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this terribly difficult time. Love and God’s Blessings, Tonya

My sympathy to the family.   Debbie was a leader all those 48 years ago when we first met at baton practice.    You will be missed.

Mike and Deb came into our lives not long after they moved to Florida, we met at church, and we quickly became great friends. We were there for each other as we all went through some very challenging times. 

Deb was just such an incredible woman that impacted so many people. I saw first hand her strength, her courage, her heart, and her capacity to love as she supported her daughter Ashley through her own battle with cancer. 

In the years that followed how many women’s lives that she impacted, how many she inspired, how many she encouraged, how many she shared the depth of her faith with, and how many she deeply loved. You throw that stone out and watch the ripples extend out into the lake, I can’t even imagine how far out the ripple goes for all the lives and families that Deb impacted for eternity. 

Deb showed us all how to faithfully love Jesus through the best of times and the worst of times. She showed us all how to love family, lift up their family, and lead their family in love. She showed us all how to use the gifts that God gives us to serve Him and to bless others. 

What I will miss most about Deb…
I will miss her amazing laugh and her smile that could warm a room. I will miss a woman that used her gifts to encourage, lift up, and lead others into a relationship with Jesus. I will miss one of the most special women that I have ever known. Most of all I will miss a great friend!

I lost my Florida sister.  She was my strength and courage.  I am so blessed to have had her in my life.  I’m so glad to have our oldies concert memories (we had so much fun and laughter).   I shared with her how she made me a better person and for that I’m grateful to our good Lord for bringing us all together.   I promise Mike will take a picture every day & we will take care of him for you!  Until we hug again,I love you forever!   Please come visit me and give me more of your wisdom! 🙏🏻😇💔

Mike and all the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Debbie was a wonderful and loving person. She will remain in your hearts and memories forever. She is now resting in the arms of Jesus.

Our hearts are with Pastor Mike and family. Many memories with this family. Rest in peace in the arms of our Lord and Savior.

God chose Debbie to lead me back to Him. I am so grateful. She convinced me to become the pianist at Holy Cross in College Station and then through her husband Mike’s sermons, God grabbed me back. She was a very special person and I don’t know how different my life would be if I had never known her.
