

Marianne Louise Trulson (née Schmidt), aged 81, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, in Parrish, Florida. Born on October 5, 1944, in Melrose, Massachusetts, Marianne lived a life filled with love, dedication, and passion.
Marianne pursued her education at Middlesex Community College, where she earned an Associate of Science degree in nursing. Her career was devoted to the field of obstetrics, where she found immense fulfillment in helping women through labor and delivery. Her work reflected her deep compassion and commitment to the well-being of others.
Marianne shared a remarkable 62 years of marriage with her loving husband, Niels. Together they built a family that brought her endless pride and joy. She is survived by her brother Sandy and his wife Pam; her daughters Lisa (Rich), Lauren (Stephen), Ericka (Brian), and Greta (Geoff); her cherished grandchildren Spencer (Spencer), Alex (Isabelle), Courtney, Sam (Katie), Tim, Emily (Vincent), Aspen, and Anna; and her great-grandchild Theo. Marianne’s role as a mother and grandmother was one she embraced wholeheartedly—she was deeply proud of her children and adored spending time with her grandchildren.
A woman of many interests, Marianne was an avid reader and knitter who found joy in creativity and learning. She had a keen interest in genealogy and took pride in tracing family histories. She was also a member of the Sarasota Ballet and the Daughters of the American Revolution, reflecting her appreciation for culture and heritage. Marianne loved the ocean deeply; living near it in Florida brought her great happiness. Whether walking along the shore or simply enjoying its beauty, the sea held a special place in her heart.
Marianne’s love extended beyond people to include animals as well—she was a caring dog mom who delighted in being surrounded by family dogs.
Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. May those who loved Marianne find comfort in remembering the warmth she brought into their lives and the legacy of love she leaves behind. A Celebration of Life will be held on April 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Robert Toale & Sons Celebration of Life Center, 4310 Solutions Lane, Bradenton, FL with a reception to follow until 5:00 PM.
