Robert attended Bloomfield High School graduating in 1957. After High School he served in the United States Army from November 1958 to November 1960. Robert went on to work for the United States Postal Service and retired after 33 years of service.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Marie of 55 years, his son Robert Anthony (Rose), and daughter, Renee Ann. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Marta Nagel.
Robert lived in Morris Plains, NJ for 40 years before moving to Bradenton, FL in 2013 as a snowbird. He had a love for the beach and enjoyed spending his summers at his home on Long Beach Island, NJ.
Robert enjoyed playing golf in his younger years, watching/talking stocks, and watching sports (both baseball and football). He was an avid fan of the NY Yankees.
Robert will be missed dearly by family, friends, and neighbors in both Florida and NJ. He had a love for all dogs (both his own and neighborhood dogs). We can only hope that his beloved King Charles Cavalier, Fred was there waiting for him to cross the rainbow bridge together.
Private family services were held at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home in Lakewood Ranch, FL. A Celebration of Life in Florida and Services in NJ will be held at a later date.
