

Born in Detroit, Michigan, Ronald dedicated over 40 years to Chrysler Automotive as a Tool Store Supervisor, where his commitment and expertise were deeply valued.
Ronald served honorably in the Navy for six years, a period which he demonstrated steadfast dedication and valor. His military service was a significant chapter in his life, reflecting his dedication to duty and country.
An avid golfer (in his earlier years), Ronald also enjoyed coin collecting, reading, boating, a good glass of red wine, and an occasional manhattan or martini. He was also a long-time member of the Elks where he once served as Exalted Ruler.
He was fiercely loyal to his family and friends, a trait that endeared him to many. Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Haggerty); daughter, Stephanie; son-in-law David Springer; four loving grandchildren, Isaac, Avery, Emmett, and Jackson Springer; sister, Barbara DiMaria (husband, Robert); brother, James Gandolfi (wife, Beverly). He was preceded in death by his parents Helen and Armand Gandolfi.
The family will hold a Mass in his memory on December 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Roman Catholic Parish, followed by a service at the Sarasota National Cemetery at 2:00 PM. These services will celebrate his life and honor his memory.
Ronald’s life was marked with dedication to his family, his friends, his career, and his country, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
