Tonya was a sweet girl. I remember her being a very good friend to my brother Kenny Knotts. 
Our years attending Gateway Baptist Church together back in the 70’s are precious memories for me.  I visited Tonya and Sara in her new house in Ellenton in 1992, before we moved to Tennessee.  Sara and Rosalyn, my heart goes out to you.  You’re in my prayers.

I am so sorry to read of Tanya's passing. I worked with her at AAA and she always had a smile and something cute to say to everyone that passed by her desk.  She helped me feel comfortable when I first started saying,"it's ok honey, you'll get it". Heaven has gained a bright star. She will be the brightest now. I'll miss her.

Our dear friend, who made our life tribulations seem so trivial with your always positive and happy outlook for living , you have reached a better place for which you are so deserving of. Yes life here may seem too short but you lived your life with every minute being golden and never showed your pain. Just a remarkable human being! We knew Tonya at AAA over many years
She was a treasure trove of details covering all of the USA and guided us each and every time we needed to travel.       She was our advisor and quickly, became our friend.       Our Westie pup loved to visit her at her desk in Bradenton … 
The news yesterday,  shattered our hearts as we learned of Tonyas passing.     
You were unique and an absolutely beautiful person, and our only comfort is knowing you are now free to roam the skies , peering down at the land you knew so well ..  float gently, our dear friend.     We miss you …. Love you.   M&m 

Friend Till we meet again! In the biggest sunflower field ever! I can not begin to say how sorry to have lost our ray of sunshine and sweetest lady I have ever met. My heart hurts but is joyful you are pain-free and setting the heavans ablaze with your goodness! Our AAA Bradenton office will never be the same now that you are gone. Thank you for taking me under your wing 16yrs ago and showing me how to be the best member service agent I could be! Thank you for all the sweetest thoughtful things you did for me! I love you and miss you Tonya. 🌻

So sorry for your loss Ros an Sara an everyone’s loss. She was a valued friend. Knew her for 30 years from Aaa parties an tour excursions an our years going to Disney all the time an doing scrap booking with all our friends. I will miss her so much. Tonya was a beautiful person inside and out, her smile was like a ray of sunshine.  I remember years back when I would go into AAA for something and you knew when you heard her voice there was a smile waiting for you. She was always so happy. It didn't matter what was happening in her life, she was always a breath of fresh air. She is missed but not gone, her memories live on in my heart. I know I will see her again one day when I am called home by Jesus.

I’m missing You Tonya 💔

I was one of Many “MCAT” HandiBus Drivers, who at the end of some very trying days, were Fortunate enough to have Tonya on our schedule to transport home…What a delightful Lady she was, and a ray of sunshine Every day!!!
We picked her up at AAA and would patiently wait while she scooted around feeding “peanut’s” to all of her “NAMED squirrel Fur-babies”…Adorable Her!!! 
She meant more to me than just a Client. I was Blessed to have met Tonya & Sara (and Pearl) and my heart is broken. Continuing prayers for the entire family… You’re in Heaven now my Friend 💔


One of my childhood best friends was Tonya's daughter, Sara. My dad, Vince, also worked with Tonya at AAA for many years. Tonya was such a big part of my childhood and I am so blessed to have so many wonderful memories with her. Our vacations to Orlando and all the theme parks were my favorite! She always treated me like a second daughter and was truly one of the best people I have ever known. She was such a joyful, happy, and funny lady. I will miss her so much. Sending all my love to Sara and family.

 We were, Tonners & Boomer, Class of 1981 and as we signed all of our cards and letters...Twins if we looked alike, Best Friends Forever & Always, Love ya like a Sister!

From raising children to the struggles we laughed & encouraged eachother about, you will always be the strongest, most optimistic loving soul I’ve ever known. Laughter, laughter, laughter! Tonya and I always shared a laugh with every conversation. My 5 years at AAA were richer because she was across the room from me. Countless times she would cry "staaahhppp!!" and we'd lose it in a fit of giggles. 
This is how I will always remember you... full of happiness and laughter. Your desk falls silent but your joy will echo forever. I love you, my friend. 

We shared so many of life’s moments together over the past 30 years. . Happy or sad. And everything in between. I was blessed to call her my friend. But i really called her my “honeybuns” and i was her “schnookums”.  Her outlook and positive energy will forever be with me and make me a better person because of HER. Nothing can fill the void in my heart she left behind. God has you now and you’re healthy and pain free. For that, i am grateful. So like we always did, save me a seat, since you got there first. I love you always and forever.

Rosalyn, Sara and family I'm deeply sorry for your loss, Tonya was one of a kind. May the love you shared with her comfort you. Her light will shine forever in your hearts. She brought so much joy to everyone.
I can't believe I'm saying goodbye to one of the sweetest and compassionate lady's I have ever known.  We had so much fun at work and our many weekend trips still make me laugh.  I love you ❤ Tonya and look forward to meeting up with you one day. Keep laughing my Energizer Bunny, till our paths cross again! 😘

I met Tonya through AAA; I worked at the Lakeland office. I don’t think I ever saw Tonya that she wasn’t smiling and enjoying life. She was such an inspiration to us all. Sending loving thoughts and prayers to Tonya’s family. 

I met Tonya at AAA  and from that first time we became friends.  Her smile was contagious!  She was such a caring person when my husband died and always kept in touch.  She sent cards for my birthdays, when I retired and kept in touch when I moved to TN.  I'll miss Tonya's smile and compassion!!  I know she's smiling in Heaven!❤️

I work for AAA SARASOTA for 16 years and TONYA and I were always in Contact with one another on how we were doing in our AAA  revenue . We were always neck and neck. We always called each other comparing stories of what has happened to us lately, and what’s new with each other and if either one of us had any new secrets that we have on having to accomplish our AAA goals. I love TONYA‘s last name so much. I name my little 3 pound Chihuahua after her MARTINI! I am going to miss TONYA  so much. It breaks my heart to know that she will not be here when I want to pick up the phone and call her. I would call TONYA when I was feeling down or just wanted to talk and she always had a positive outlook on life. I really appreciated that in her. I’m going to miss you TONYA MARTINI. It really breaks my heart to say goodbye, you’ll always be in my thoughts and prayers.
