It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Burton “Burt” John Neilson, on December 9, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband to Catherine (nee Ellis) of 47 years. Devoted Dad to Jennifer and Emily. Born in Proton Station to parents Jack and Eva (nee Wauchope) Neilson and raised in Dundalk, Burt moved to Brampton in 1967. Predeceased by older brother Keith (Birdie) Neilson of Dundalk and sister Betty (Ray d.) Hopkins. Survived by sisters Leona (Ken) Bates of Guelph and Eleanor (Lloyd d.) Dow of Dundalk in addition to numerous adored nieces and nephews. Burt will always be remembered for his quick wit and deep devotion to his family and friends.
