Ellen (Eleanor) Sheridan Cowie (nee Kirkaldy) passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022. Despite her chronic terminal illness, she courageously fought until the end. Her determined spirit and positive mindset were two of her many great qualities. She is loved by many including her late husband of 55 years, Gordon Hugh Cowie and parents James and Agnes Kirkaldy. Loving mother of Susan (Paul) and Steven (Audrey). Ellen was a special Grandma to her four precious grandchildren: Morgan (Kyle), Alex (Samantha), Ashlyn and Nolan. She was overjoyed with her great grandson Logan. Ellen had special love for her sister-in-law, Gwen Wilkins, nieces: Pamela and Jane, nephew Jeff and families. The family would like to express sincere gratitude to Martindale Gardens Wellness staff along with a special thank you to Milton District Hospital – Dr. Anderson and nurse Nicole (2 south). A Celebration of Life to honour her will be held at Glencairn Golf Club, 9807 Regional Road 25, Milton, Ontario on Saturday November 5th 1pm. Please RSVP - [email protected] to attend.
