It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved, husband, father and grandfather on August 13, 2016 at the age of 77. He is survived and will be greatly missed by Anne, his wife, soulmate and best friend of 53 years. He leaves behind his 5 children Dave (Josie), Robert (Leanne), Brian (Samantha), Leo (Brooke), Carrie (Jacob). He also leaves behind his adoring grandchildren Andrew, Adam, Kylie, Brice, Jack and Isabella. He will also be missed by his sisters Giovanna, Carmena, Salvina, Helen, brother Leo and by his many nieces and nephews and many friends throughout Canada and abroad. George will be remembered for teaching the importance of family, hard work and humility. Visitation will be held at Andrews Community Funeral Centre (8190 Dixie, Road, Brampton) on Tuesday August 16th , 2016, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John Fisher Church (300 Balmoral Drive, Brampton) on Wednesday, August 17th at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
