I was heartbroken to hear of the passing of my dear cousin, Jackie. Such a sad loss for Manuel, Sarah, Tony, Ethan, Mason, Sadie, Brendan, and for her family and friends here in Canada and overseas.  I have so many wonderful memories of Jackie especially when Rick and I moved to Canada from Ireland in 1977 and how we were welcomed by Uncle Bill, Aunt Nora and Brian, Ann, Jackie, Bill and Christopher.  Their home was full of laughter, storytelling, song and dance.  I cherish the memories of Jackie preparing for her wedding day in 1980 as we shopped for her bridal gown and my bridesmaid's dress.  The wedding was beautiful and though it was a busy day Jackie ensured that the wedding party had refreshments while we waited for the photographs to be taken after the ceremony and before the reception.  Very thoughtful.  Over the years we both were busy raising our families but kept in touch.  Jackie often spoke lovingly of her children and grandchildren.  She was very proud of them and I know they will miss her very much.  My heartfelt condolences go out to Manuel at this very sad time.  Deepest sympathies from Deirdre, Rick, Garrett, Conor, Annika, Sigrid and Edda and from all Jackie's cousins in Ireland.

Rest in Peace auntie Jackie. We were so lucky to have you in our lives and to be able to cherish the memories we shared for a life time. Even though we couldn’t be there today our hearts are with Manuel, Sarah, Brendan and the kids. Lots of love from your family back home.

My memories of my lovely, kind, "big sister" cousin were the summer of 1978. I'm the same age as Bill but since I was Irish I had no id card to present when I was challenged as to my age. So she and Manuel brought me to my first night club (only had been to teen discos). It was quite the experience. Also during my time staying with them, she introduced me to daytime soaps. I was completely hooked by the time I went home.  And this photo is 2022 when she & Manuel were in Ireland. So glad we had that visit
