Passed away peacefully at the age of 90 in Mississauga on July 15, 2014. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Anne; daughter Marie (Joe); sons Robert (Joy), James (Ava), Gerald, Daniel; Granddaughters Angie (Rico), Jessica, Kristy, Jenny; grandsons Paul (Judy), Blair, Jared, Sean, Tyler; sister Chrissie; many extended family and friends. Joseph was predeceased by his sister Kathleen; brothers James, Jack and Archie. Joseph was an Oak Leaf recipient with the Royal Navy during World War II. He was also a proud member of the Burma Starr and Knights of Columbus. Many additional family and professional achievements contributed to a full life well lived. Public visitation to occur at Andrews Community Funeral Centre (8190 Dixie Rd. Brampton ON. 905-456-8190) on Tuesday July 22, 2014 at 12:00 pm with a funeral service to occur in the chapel at Andrews Community Funeral Centre at 1:00 pm that same day. Private family interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joseph’s name to a charity of your choice.
