Passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, with family by her side at home in Brampton, Ontario at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Gilberto Concepcion Rivera (1979). Loving mother of Estela (Oscar Ramos), Cardenio (Edith Cruz), Ana Silva, Wilfredo (Mayra Arias), Jesus Ariel, Caroline and Rudy (Noemy Alfaro). Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Survived by sisters: Adela, Isabel, Angela and brothers: Tito, Antonio and late Neftaly.
Juana was born in San Sebastian, El Salvador in 1934. She spend most of her life educating children.
She will be missed for her generous heart and warm smile. We are comforted to know that her love will continue to live on in her circle of family and friends, here and abroad.
Family and friends may gather at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre - 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton (North of Steeles Avenue) 905-456-8190, on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 4pm-8pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 10:30am. Interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, following the mass.
