

She departed this life at the young age of 74, on Monday, February 6, 2023, at the Brampton Civic Hospital.
Lynne led a happy and lavish life full of international travel, gourmet foods, and countless hosted events. She was known for her myriad of accessories and hand embellished clothing.
For 30+ years Lynne dedicated herself to the Girl Guides of Canada. She inspired and cherished each and every one of her Brownie packs and Brown Owls. Lynne is also remembered for her glorious days with the Miss Canada tour, as well as her contributions to her church, and her adoration for her Gaelic heritage.
Lynne will be greatly missed by her family and friends throughout Canada and the United States.
Her memory lives on through her sisters Sharon Foster of Enderby, and Ellen Foster Pace of Louisiana; nieces and nephews, Erin Foster, Sarah Foster, Elisabeth (Adam) Foster Long, Sean (Jerah) Foster, Richard Pace, Russell (Megan) Pace, Emily (Chris) Merrow; great nieces and nephews Athen, Aiden, Rowan, Claire, Lorelei, and Amelia; and best friends Eddie Lagare and Val Hurd.
In death as in life, Lynne continues to exhibit her generosity and caring heart through organ donation.

Lynne’s final resting place will be near her father, John Delman Foster, at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are being taken care of by her good friend, Joseph Angelini, and the Andrews Community Funeral Centre in Brampton. There are currently no scheduled celebrations of life.
