Maurice immigrated to Canada in 1969 with aspirations & dreams of a better life for himself and his

supporting his fellow workers and was motivated to make his workplace a better place for all. He
was soon appointed as a Union Lead to advocate on behalf of his fellow union members. His

leader. He fought to ensure his organization offered fair wages, benefits, and, better working
conditions for all members within his organization.
Maurice loved his family deeply. He was determined to see his family united, showing love for one
another. He had the special ability to unite people from all different backgrounds, and walks of life;
always determined, he made things happen. It was incredible to see how boundless his reach was,
and for his efforts, we all appreciate what family truly means.
Maurice was loved, and all that knew him, knew he loved us too. The love he spread on this earth
continues to grow and will live on. This is the ultimate measure of any human being and by this
measure, he was immeasurable. Maurice left an impact on every person he met. To say he will be
missed is an understatement. We all love you, Maurice, 'Dad'. Now and forevermore.
Till we meet again.
